Fully Enclosed Steep Angle Belt Conveyor

The large inclination belt conveyor, also known as the corrugated sidewall belt conveyor, uses a conveyor belt with corrugated sidewalls and transverse partitions, allowing it to achieve a conveying angle of up to 90 degrees. It is highly suitable for steep-angle conveying and vertical lifting of materials. The advantages of using this conveyor include not only saving floor space but also reducing equipment and construction costs, offering high comprehensive economic benefits. It features a simple structure, easy installation, and convenient maintenance; it operates smoothly and reliably (compared to the en-masse conveyor, it avoids issues such as chain jamming, chain floating, and chain breakage during use). It has low energy consumption, minimal noise, high conveying capacity, and causes no damage to the materials.

The large inclination belt conveyor is widely used in industries such as coal, grain, building materials, construction, metallurgy, electric power, chemical, and light industries. It can convey various bulk materials with a bulk density of 0.5 to 2.5 t/m³ within an ambient temperature range of -25 to 40°C.

To achieve better material receiving and discharging conditions, especially when the conveying angle exceeds 45 degrees, it is necessary to include a lower horizontal receiving section and an upper horizontal discharging section.

The large inclination belt conveyor mainly consists of a discharge hopper, head frame, head cover, drive drum, head cleaner, sidewall belt, convex curve frame, guide wheel, hold-down roller, intermediate frame, intermediate frame leg, upper idler, concave curve frame, bend pulley, lower idler, feed chute, return belt cleaner, tail pulley, tensioning device, tail frame, drive unit, and backstop. The conveyor belt is composed of a base belt, corrugated sidewalls, and transverse partitions. The corrugated sidewalls are bonded to both sides of the base belt, and the transverse partitions are bonded at certain intervals between the two sidewalls. The shape of the base belt of the corrugated sidewall conveyor belt is the same as that of an ordinary conveyor belt, but its transverse stiffness is greater than that of ordinary conveyor belts. Specially designed conveyor belts are generally used as the base belt, with tensile reinforcement materials (core layer) divided into four types: cotton canvas base belt, nylon canvas base belt, polyester canvas base belt, and steel cord base belt.
